FRIDAY, JUNE 12 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Do you want to feel confident in talking with clients about the nature of the therapeutic relationship? Do you want to be able to trust yourself in addressing feelings that you have about your clients, and/or feelings they have about you? Do you feel capable of discussing the relationship you are having with your clients directly in the moment?

Are you eager to engage with your clients more relationally but aren't sure where to start? This course will provide an overview of theories and models in the relational school of therapy, as well as opportunities to bring clinical examples into the learning space and to practice relational work in an experiential way. This course will draw on concepts from Relational-Cultural therapy in particular and will consider how intersectionality impacts the clinical encounter.

Sponsored by PSCSW, there are 6 CEUs available for this event for Social Workers.
